Most ocean pollution isn't trash. It's from dumping toxic waste, the runoff of pollutants from land when it rains or floods, oil spills, sewage dumping, etc. It's a good idea not to put trash in the ocean, but businesses don't listen to people (they don't have to), even if it means humanity gets wiped out (and it will be).

You do realize its not that simple right?
